John smiled and hopped over to the drinks, getting a sprite, then taking a seat infront of Dave smiling sweetly. “Daaveee thank you~”
You come back over with your own drink and nod your head a little. You go back to the high table and climb onto the chair and take your sub off the tray and swallow a bit, you won’t admit it but you’re still hella nervous. This is like a date, eating, then the movies then who knows what else after that.
No. You keep telling yourself you’re just on this outing as friends, nothing more, John paraded around with his ‘I’m not a homosexual’ bit for so long.
But damn, you really just can’t help it if he makes your own heart beat a million miles a minute just by calling your name.

You shift your eyes behind your shades to his face but even though he couldn’t see them, you still avert your eyes downwards as if he could tell when you were looking at him or not.
John smiled to himself and picked up his sandwich, holding it and taking a small bite. He broke into a smile and hummed. “mmm good choice dave” he said with a smile and giggled lightly, taking another bite of his sandwich.
